From August to November 2017, I’ll be based in Ōtautahi Christchurch as the Macmillan Brown Centre for Pacific Studies Artist in Residence at the University of Canterbury!
I’m looking forward to dedicated time and space for writing about Pacific curatorial practice, discussing exhibition making and contemporary art with new audiences and gaining insights into the New Zealand Pacific experience outside of Auckland. I aim to write a manifesto on curating Pacific art, and produce a body of experimental work including essays / texts / blogs, photography and digital content created to share and archive the experience with a digital community across social media platforms connected with the hashtag #PIMPImanifesto.
